With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bonnie Sue Carney of Spartanburg, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 1, 2025 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bonnie Sue Carney to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret O'Berry and Thomas A. Dowling; her husband Charles E. Carney; and her siblings, Thomas Dowling, Russell Dowling, Opal Dowling and Rhoda France (Bucky).
She is survived by: her daughter Terry Carney Anderson; her grandsons, William "Chuck" Elliott, Dustin Tyler Bishop (Becca Haught) and David Cole Bishop; her siblings, Evan Dowling (Gail), Carol King (Terry) and Ouida Biggs (David); and her siblings-in-law, Sonny Carney (Tammy) and Evelyn Dowling.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Morning Star Baptist Church (150 Old Spartanburg Hwy, Pacolet, SC 29372). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
