He was predeceased by: his daughter Phyllis Diane Godfrey. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Dixon Godfrey; his children, Sandra Godfrey of Spartanburg and Christopher Godfrey (Marie) of Wellford; his grandchildren, Brandon Thompson, Morgan Batalla (Aaron), Shannon Laughlin (Allen), Breanna Godfrey (Seth Killian) and Kayla Cleveland (James); and his great grandchildren, Aspyn Thompson and Clover Cleveland.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens (1451 Compton Bridge Rd, Inman, SC 29349).
