She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Harvey DuPre and Lindsay James DuPre; her husband James Edward "Ping" Toney; and her siblings, Lindsay R. DuPre and Billie Doris DuPre.
She is survived by: her sons, Barry E. Toney (Jenny) of Spartanburg and James Daryl Toney of Warm Springs, GA; her grandchildren, Brad Toney (Kelly), Amelia Holt and Julia Barnstead (Scott); and her great grandchildren, David Shortell (Claire), Mia Lorenz, Matthew Lorenz (Rachel), Alexis Lorenz (Nick), Alex Johnson, Emma Barnstead, Lucas Barnstead, Cameron Toney and Taylor Toney. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens- Spartanburg (1300 Fernwood Glendale Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29307). Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel (2075 E Main St, Spartanburg, SC 29307).
