She was predeceased by : her parents, Lula Wilkey and Dale Harvey; her son Troy J. Howell; and her sisters, Connie Carnahan and Judy Harvey.

She is survived by : her husband Harold Burr Morse; her children, Jerry M Howell II (Kim L.) of Hertford, NC, Michelle R. McKnight of Forest City, NC and Melinda F. Dempsey (Joseph) of Port St; her brother Jim Harvey (Marilyn); her grandchildren, Troy J., Jonathon Howell, Chase, Heather, Sandra McKnight and Tabitha Trudel; and her great grandchild Wolf Howell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
