She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Zehm and Ida Mae Zehm; her husband Charles Mathis; and her siblings, Carol, Howard, Gail and Colleen.
She is survived by: her children, Howard Mathis (Lori), Debrah Albury (Bob) and Roberta Ballenger (William); her sister Anita Huntsman; and her sister-in-law Carol Zehm. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:50 PM at the Holy Communion Lutheran Church (1430 John B White Sr Blvd, Spartanburg, SC 29306). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens (1300 Fernwood Glendale Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29307).
