She was predeceased by: her parents, Wheeler Fowler and Janie Arrowwood Fowler; her son James Sprouse; and her granddaughter Maria Sprouse. She is survived by: her children, Oliver Dean Sprouse, Jr. (Theresa) of Spartanburg, Sandra Elliott (Paul) of Forest City, NC and Mary Gossett (Ken) of Jonesville; and her siblings, Jimmy Fowler (Pat) of Gaffney, Harold Fowler of Cowpens, Lucille Peahuff and Sarah Hutchins.
