He was predeceased by: his wife Clara Childs Mackenzie; and his parents, L. G. and Mary F. Mackenzie of Spartanburg. He is survived by: his children, David A. Mackenzie, Sarah M. Donnan (Andy), Clara M. Pelfrey (Scott) and William W. E. Mackenzie; his sister Susan Hopps (Alec); and his nephews, Hearon McCravy (Stephanie), Scott McCravy (Joanne) and Allen McCravy (Cindy).
A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St Matthew's Episcopal Church (101 St Matthews Ln, Spartanburg, SC 29301).
