She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Gainey, Sr.; her parents, Andrew Atkinson and Connie Mae Petty Atkinson; her son Raymond Gainey, Jr.; and her siblings, Andrew Atkinson, Jack Atkinson of Tex Atkinson, L. J, Roger Atkinson, Darla Freeman and Carolyn Mixon.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Gainey (Donnie Blackmon) of Society Hill, SC, Richard Gainey (Rhonda) of Society Hill, SC and Bill Gainey of Society Hill, SC; her grandchildren, Jessica Longnecker (Josh), Kami Gainey, Kadi Gainey, Hunter Gainey (Miranda), Ty Gainey and Si Blackmon; her great grandchildren, Ryleigh Gainey and Raegan Gainey; and her siblings, Jimmy Atkinson, Frank Atkinson, Scott Atkinson, Mary Brewer and Connie Rodriguez.
