He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Vernon Pickrel and Doris Hankins Pickrel; and his siblings, Wiley Pickrel and Sondra Pickurel. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Pickrel; his sons, Kevin Pickrel (Rebecca) of Cheraw and Michael Pickrel (Suzanne) of Myrtle Beach; his stepsons, Rodney Keith of Society Hill and Mark Keith (Pam) of Aberdeen; his grandchildren, Kristian Pickrel, Garrett Pickrel, Braylin Pickrel and Abigail Pickrel; his stepgrandchildren, Daniel Keith, Ryan Keith (Cassie) and Nolan Keith; his great grandchild Rose Keith; and his brother H. V. Pickrel, Jr. (Ann) of Gretna, Virginia.
