He was predeceased by: his son Carroll Eugene "Gene" Freeman; his parents, Allen Freeman and Della Edwards Freeman; and his siblings, Buck, Tom, Ray, Clarence (Weazer), Ronnie, Hallie, June, Darce and Nancy.
He is survived by: his children, David "Bo" Freemen (Kim) of Cassellberry and Julie Keith (Jay) of Camden, SC; his grandchildren, John Freeman, Will Keith and Amber Andrews (Chris); his great grandchild Christopher Andrews; his siblings, Delmas Freeman (Vonzeal), Linda Howle (Cecil) and Faye Howle; his close friend Honorary; and his brother Buddy Cole. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
