He is survived by: his sons, Jason Purvis (Kacee) of Hartsville and Joseph Purvis of Society Hill; his grandchildren, Wyatt and Leah Purvis; and his siblings, Joel Purvis (Judy) of Cheraw and Virginia "Jennie" Hicks (Johnny) of Society Hill.
