It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion Glenn Harter of Socastee, South Carolina, born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on June 2, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Alford Harter and Christine Kay Kiker Harter; and his sister Joyce McConnell. He is survived by: his children, Glenda Harter (Edward Thompson) of Georgetown, Kevin Harter (Jessica Britt) of Georgetown, Chandler Harter of Georgetown, Tyler Harter of Georgetown and Spencer Harter of Georgetown; his grandchildren, Ashley Lambert (Bobby Howard), Holden Harter (Cameron Jones), Kinsley Harter, Gavin Harter and Kayson Harter; his great grandchild Brayton Howard; and his siblings, Shirley Cribb (O'Neil) of Georgetown and Randy Harter of Socastee. He is also survived by two other great-grandchildren.
