He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Mae Whiten Stokes; his grandson Hunter Isaac Reap; his mother-in-law Gennie Wyatt; and his brother Kenny Stokes.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Wyatt Stokes; his daughters, Brandy P. Reap (Mitchell) of Smyrna, SC and Rebecca A. Stokes of Gainesville, GA; his grandchildren, Jeremy Dover, Joshua Reap, Emily Reap, Daniel Crowder, Emily Rose Stokes and Johnny Nation; and his siblings, Ronnie Stokes (Peggy) of Lawndale, NC, Ricky Stokes of Fallston, NC, Brady Stokes of Kings Mtn, NC, Jimmy Stokes of Grover, NC, Robbie Stokes of Spruce Pines, NC, Susan Carpenter (George) of Kings Mtn, NC and Vickie Neal (Eddie) of Blacksburg, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at 4810 Canaan Church Rd, Smyrna, SC 29743.
