He was predeceased by: his father Isaiah "Boot" Simmons; his sister Linda Marie Linnen; and his grandfathers, Russell Simmons (Lillie) and Roosevelt Hodges (Eva). He is survived by: his mother Silvia Simmons.
A public viewing will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Stephens-Maree-Tracy Funeral Home Chapel of Serenity from 5:00 p. m. - 7:00 p. m. (THOSE ATTENDING SERVICE ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR FACIAL MASKS, AND SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE ENFORCED.) Silvester attended the Public Schools of Colleton County and graduated from Ruffin High School with the class of 1983.
