He is survived by: his mother Valerie Daniels; his close friend Myra Utsey of Grover; his adoptive daughter Shauntae Utsey; his grandchildren, Diwieja, Markaya and Markeis; his aunts, Pernell Crosby of Walterboro, SC, Orine Jakes of Smoaks, SC, Mary Bostic (Marshall) of Smoaks, SC and Jessie Mattocks (Ernest) of Jacksonville, NC; his uncle Alfred Daniels (Inez) of Smoaks, SC; and his great-aunts, Amelia Carter, Velerie Butler and Coleen Walker. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
