He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Marvick Drain; his brothers, Isaiah, Franklin and David Mack; his aunts, Mary L. Stokes, Bennie Green and Jessie Nell Cochran; his nephew Joseph D. Frazier; and his mother Gloria Morris Drain.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Linder, Samantha Drain of Charlotte and Joseph Antonio Drain of Smoaks; his grandchildren, Tameya Drain, Cayla Drain, Ty'Mir Brayboy and Caitlyn Drain; his sisters, Josie Drain of Smoaks and Rose Marie Frazier (Joseph) of Smoaks; his aunts, Ida Haynes of Hampton and Jettaree Bingley (Jervy) of Branchville; his uncle Reverend Henry Cochran (Roberta) of Orangeburg; and the mother of his children Shirlene Linder. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
