It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Thomas Cooper (Smoaks, South Carolina), who passed away on January 29, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Calhoun Thomas and Alma Bishop Thomas; and her siblings, William, Rodney, Jake Thomas, Susie Thomas Smith and Bettie Thomas Mitchum.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Ronnie Cooper (Jamie) of Walbridge, James Timothy Cooper (Donna) of Fletcher and Jerri Yvonne Suttles of Alpharetta, Georgia; and her siblings, The Reverend J. Herbert, Ray Thomas (Elva) of Smoaks, Frankie Thomas (Marie) of Ridgeville and Eva Thomas Beach of Walterboro.
