She was predeceased by: her parent Jacob English Carter; and her siblings, Everette O. Carter, Sr., Walter Marion Carter, Jake Carter, Jr. and Ernestine Strickland.
She is survived by: her parent Ottie Lee Bunton Carter; her children, Rollin Carter Goodwin of Smoaks and Candace Vern Goodwin of Smoaks; her grandsons, James Vernon Goodwin and Cooper Ellis Goodwin; and her sister Mary C. Williams (Holland) of Walterboro.
