We are sad to announce that on May 30, 2018, at the age of 93, Wilma Sue Franklin Hughes (Six Mile, South Carolina), born in Bessemer City, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Claude R. "Bob" Hughes. She is survived by: her children, Buddy Lee Hughes (Wylene) of Six Mile, SC, James H. "Jim" Hughes (Carolyn) of Inverness, FL and Bobbie Sue Brown (Richard) of St. Augustine, FL; her brother Keith Franklin of Dallas, NC; her sister-in-law Audrey Franklin of Bessemer City, NC; and her grandchildren, Dianne McKinney, Brenda Moore (Rickey), Charlotte Thompkins (Jimm), Deanna Waybright (Shane), Dana Rise, Rich Brown (Amy) and Robbie Brown (Adriane). She is also survived by great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
