He was predeceased by: his wife Geraldine A. Maddox; his parents, Brady C. Maddox and Alma Maddox (Nichols); and his siblings, Robert Maddox and Jean Bowman.
He is survived by: his children, Michael G. Maddox (Qulia) of Wewoka, OK, Larry S. Maddox (Vicki) of Olive Branch, MS, Linda L. Jordan (Michael) of Memphis, TN and Leslie S. Maddox of Memphis, TN; his stepsons, Frederick J. Lanceley (Donna) of Canton, GA and Michael A. Lanceley of Sandy Springs, SC.; and his siblings, Larry Maddox (Ann) and Sue King (Ron). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and a great great grandchild.
