It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leola Pearson (Six Mile, South Carolina), born in Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on October 19, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Washington Chappell and Larrie Ann Durham Chappell; her children, Ernest Roper and James Pearson; her grandchildren, Denise Harris and Jason Donald; and her great grandchildren, Preslie Whitfield, Faith Rowley and Elijah Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Chappell of Easley, Nancy Roper of Easley, Linda Roper of Liberty, Patricia Bolding (Billy) of Six Mile, Sherry McCall (Tommy) of Pickens and Tammy Batson of Greenville. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
