He was predeceased by: his parents, J. B. Towe and Ora Jennings Towe; his siblings, Esco, Cliff, Lee Towe, Jessie Bradley, Ethel Smith, Pearl Smith and Ruth Riggins; and his son-in-law Bill Huggins.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Emerson (Alvin) of Seneca, Martha Newton (Ron) of Clemson, Wanda Huggins of Anderson, Deborah Dukes (Bobby) of Six Mile and Jimmy Towe of Six Mile; his grandchildren, Reggie Newton, Bradley Newton, Chris Newton, Anne Michaud, Robby Dukes and Sara Bryce; and his great grandchildren, Jake Newton, Casie Newton, Gabbie Lochbaum, Brendon MacDermott, Carter, Gage, Grayson Dukes, Ansley and Lyla Gerretzen.
Due to the COVID-19 crisis and in accordance with CDC guidelines we are choosing to have private family services.
