He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ernest Crenshaw and Mary Elizabeth Moore Crenshaw; and his brothers, Frank, James E., Jr. and Edward Crenshaw.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy Masters Crenshaw; his children, Brian Crenshaw (Nancy) of Easley and Stephanie Gibson (Scott) of Pickens; his grandchildren, Cody Gibson (Jessica), Eric Crenshaw and Jerianne Gibson; his great grandchild Oaklee Gibson; and his siblings, J. C. Crenshaw of Greer, Elizabeth Pruitt of Inman and Eula Hinson of Greer.
