She was predeceased by: her parents, William Chavis and Marie Roland Chavis. She is survived by: her husband Avery Anders; her children, Matthew Chavis (Paula), Johnny Williams (Diane) and Cathy Oliver; her stepdaughters, Donna Petersen (Jim), Shannon Mann (Adam), Alanna Alexander (Steven) and Kerry Wimpey (Chris); and her siblings, Frank Chavis, David Chavis, Delma Sanders and Carolina Hutson.

It is requested that those in attendance wear a mask, and maintain social distancing. A celebration of life will occur at a later date when COVID restrictions allow.
