He is survived by: his wife Carol Bradham Schell; his children, Bill Schell Jr. (Trudy), Bob Schell (Kerri) and Cindy Davis (Chuck); his grandchildren, Arielle Doiel (Matt), David Schell (Caroline), Dusty Davis, John Schell, Meghan Eikenberry (Adam) and Wesley Schell; and his great grandchildren, Cooper Doiel, Beaux Doiel, Eliza Schell and Isaac Schell.
