She was predeceased by: her parents, Waymon E. Sims and Clara Ann Strickland Sims. She is survived by: her husband Danny Ray Knight; her daughters, Crystal Strickland (Scott) and Carrie Allen; her grandchildren, Justin and Shelby Ann Strickland; her brother Tony Sims (Vicky); and her nephews, Tony and Terry Sims.
