He was predeceased by: his wife Winifred Barton; his parents, Gentry Barton and Ruth McMahan Barton; and his son Barry Barton. He is survived by: his children, Ron Barton (Sharron), Dennis Barton (Jane) and Melinda Maw (Michael); his grandchildren, Jeff Barton (Katie), Tyler Barton (Lori), Beth Persons (Brad), Nicole Craft (Patrick), Jennifer Messervy (Reid) and Sara Maw; and his sister Shirley McDowell. He is also survived by ten great- grandchildren.
