It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tempie Fulmer (Simpsonville, South Carolina), born in Newberry, South Carolina, who passed away on December 16, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Willie Davis Thornton; her siblings, William Everett "Peg" Thornton, Judge Ruben Thornton, Richard Andrew Thornton, Dorothy Thornton Durst and Martha Thornton Fleming; and her spouse Duward Cleckley Fulmer.

She is survived by: her children, Gayle O'Kelly (Ritch), Susan Hughes (George) and Dr. Duward T. Fulmer (Shirley); her granddaughters, Dr. Amanda O'Kelly, Dr. Elizabeth Fulmer Eakes (Devin) and Dr. Rebecca Hughes Holmes (Jonathan); and her great grandchildren, Charlie and Wesley Eakes. She is also survived by her husband left for her children and grandchildren.

Per the family's request, please wear a mask for both the visitation and the services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Simpsonville United Methodist Church, 215 SE Main Street, Simpsonville, SC.
