He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Blease and Tecola Kathrine Holley Rivers; and his siblings, William Ralph Rivers and Alice Parker Welborn. He is survived by: his children, Stewart Lathay Rivers, Jr. (Laurie) of Landrum, William David Rivers (Cyndi) of Simpsonville and Cindy Rivers of Greenville; his grandchildren, Melanie, Stephanie, Lindsay, Courtney and Abby; and his great grandchildren, Hadley and Aspen.
