She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Arthur D. Douglas; her husband Tim; her children, Tyler Lay (Ashlyn King), Gavin Lay, Nolan Gage Lay and Alexis Gilbert (Brandon); her grandchildren, Zander Gilbert and Ivy Lay; her sister Christine Douglas; and her stepsiblings, Clark Widener, Ashley Caddell, Abbey Beattie and Shannon Widener.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the First Baptist Church (3 Hedge St, Simpsonville, SC 29681). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
