She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Franklin and Rosie Jane Strickland Crocker; her husband Robert Dale Gaines; her siblings, Opal, Dessie, Eunice, Howard and Bernell; and her grandson Brandon Gaines.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Jones (Brent) and Michelle Lee; her brother Jerry Crocker (Naomi); and her great grandchildren, Landon, Liam Buckner, Gage Miles and Everett Warren.
