He was predeceased by: his parents, Smiley "Buddy" James Poston and Ruby Louise Hanna Poston; his sister Marilyn Eskins; his sister-in-law Carol Jean Poston; and his father-in-law Allen J. Jansson, Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Morgan Eubanks (Brandon) of Simpsonville, Taylor Poston of Simpsonville and Michael Vela (Meredith) of Fate; his siblings, Ronald Poston of Aynor, Ricky Poston (Marcia) of Fountain Inn, Don Poston of Conway, Terri Poston of Johnsonville and Sherry Salazar (Rudy) of Johnsonville; and his grandchildren, Maddox Scott Gibson, Henry Matthew Eubanks, Madelyn Vela and Michael Tyler Vela. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
