With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Russell Knighton of Simpsonville, South Carolina, who passed away on September 28, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Lee Knighton and Cora Elizabeth Knighton (Manly); his siblings, Wesley, Lawrence Knighton and Blanche Knighton Padgett; and his niece Jeanie Elizabeth Knighton.
He is survived by: his nephew Barry Lee Paris of Gray Court; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Carla, Crystal and Zane; his nephew Dr. Larry Russell Knighton of Anderson; and his great-nephews, William Bennett Knighton and Logan Denver Clark (Savannah).
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that memorials be made to Simpsonville United Methodist Church, 215 South East Main Street, Simpsonville, SC. 29681.
