With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger C. Burgess (Simpsonville, South Carolina), who passed away on September 27, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Carlton Burgess; his former wife Frankie Burgess; his daughter Pamela Averett; and his siblings, Calvin, Kenny Burgess, Carol Curtis and Kathy Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Burgess; his stepdaughter Tiffany Burkett; his daughter Candice Lewis (Greg); his sister Rita Powell (Sam); and his grandchild Brandie. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
