He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Irvin Bledsoe, Sr. and Hattie Pierce Bledsoe; his son Dene Bledsoe; his brothers, Jack, Ira and John; and his great grandchild Aislyn.
He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Black of Simpsonville and Gene Bledsoe (Bobbie) of Mint Hill, NC; his daughter-in-law Cynthia Bledsoe of Shelby, NC; his grandchildren, Joe (Abigail), Derek, Scott (Stephanie), Lee and Christie (John); his great grandchildren, Joe (Brittany), Carson, Jaspar, Bailey, Tucker, Mollie and Ellie; his great great grandchildren, Lucas and Greyson; and his brother Francis Bledsoe.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
