He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Leo Heacock and Maude Bramble Heacock; and his brothers, Kenneth, Eugene, Charles Jr., George, William, Douglas and Orville.
He is survived by: his wife Irma Nelida Heacock; his children, Jennifer Heacock Ikard of Austin, John Heacock of Greenville and Christine Heacock of Ashburn, Virginia; his grandchildren, April and Austin Ikard; and his pet Ridge Runners Pound.
