He was predeceased by: his parents, Mavis Simmons (Pat) and Cecil Alden Simmons (Jerry). He is survived by: his wife Julia Simmons; his sons, William Simmons (Danielle) of Morristown, NJ and John Simmons (Carolyn) of Simpsonville; his grandchildren, Jackson, Mason, Madison Simmons of Simpsonville, Tyler and Rowan Simmons of Morristown, NJ.; and his sister Doris Matousek (Rick) of Maryville, TN..
