He is survived by: his spouse Emma Johnson Bowie of Simpsonville; his son Gary Bowie; his brothers, Charles Bowie, Sr., Pete Bowie and Maurice Bowie; his son Robbie Bowie (Tracie) of Abbeville; his stepchildren, Butch Johnson, Donna Braisher, Brian Johnson, Bruce Johnson, Brenda Johnson, Mike Johnson, Janet Thompson and Nancy Garrison; and his siblings, Wade Bowie (Jewell) of Abbeville and Leila Bowie Blanchett of Abbeville. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
