He was predeceased by: his parents, David Leonard Goodnough and Ruby Carnes Goodnough; and his former wife Joan Porter Goodnough. He is survived by: his spouse Betty Worthy Goodnough; his children, Richie Goodnough, Jr. of Simpsonville, Ann Bollinger (Steve) of Simpsonville, Lynn Wright (Greg) of Fountain Inn, Donna Norman (Jeff) of Mauldin and Karen Whitworth (Larry); and his grandchildren, Katrina Thompson, Mandy Bentley, Randall Bentley (Andrea), Will Duncan (Erin), Angela Fore and Emily Duncan. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to: the Temple Baptist Church Building Fund or to a charity of one's choice.
