He was predeceased by: his parents, John Perry and Lola Townsend Cheek. He is survived by: his wife Joan Curtin; his children, Raymond T. Cheek, Jr. (Sandra) of Sebastian, FL and Cynthia Cheek Stewart (James) of Simpsonville; his grandchildren, Amanda Stewart Mattison (Brian) of Simpsonville and Gregory Stewart (Elizabeth) of Travelers Rest; and his great grandchildren, Bradley Crowell, Callie, Townsend Mattison, Chapman, Rayleigh, Ryder and Cadence Stewart.
