He was predeceased by: his spouse Mary Walden; and his grandson Roger Bass. He is survived by: his son Ralph Edward Bass, Jr. (Carol) of Fountain Inn, SC; his sister Faye Holden of Charlotte, NC; and his grandchildren, Ralph E. Bass, III of Simpsonville, SC, Cheri Bass Burress (David) of Simpsonville, SC, Robert E. Bass (Allison) of Fountain Inn, SC and Carla Bass Loper (Bennie) of Simpsonville, SC.
