He was predeceased by: his brother Christopher Brooks. He is survived by: his parents, Darrell K. Brooks and Charlene Gambrell Brooks; his sons, Evan, Trent, Rhett and Cole Brooks; his parents-in-law, Buster Simpson and Andrea Hyatt (Joe); his brother-in-law Brian Simpson (Teresa); his niece Hailey Simpson; and his friend Shelley Donalies. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Simpsonville/Upstate Church (3 Hedge St, Simpsonville, SC 29681). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
