He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Curtis Goodwin and Elva Lawson Goodwin; his daughter Lisa Goodwin; his brother Jack Goodwin; and his daughter-in-law Kellie Goodwin.
He is survived by: his son Maurice Goodwin; his girlfriend Ann Love; his grandchildren, Ivey Gilreath (Charles), Jesse Goodwin and Vance Goodwin; his great grandchild Bradley Burton; and his brother Larry Goodwin (Jessica).
