She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Evan L. Shaffer and Dorothy Mae Jacobs Shaffer. She is survived by: her husband Stan R. Nafziger; her children, Stanton R. Nafziger and ShaeAnn R. Nafziger Cavanagh; her son-in-law Quentin W. Cavanagh; her grandchildren, Sydney R. Cavanagh, McKayla A. Cavanagh and John W. Cavanagh; her siblings, Robert L. Shaffer (Jeri), Ray L. Shaffer (Sarah), Stephen C. Shaffer (Barbara), Kay L. Shaffer Capron (Robert) and Deborah M. Shaffer Payne (Sam); and her mother-in-law Delores J. Yoder Nafziger. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to Open Door Baptist Missions, 1115 Pelham Rd., Greenville, SC 29615 for Maranatha Theological Seminary in Haiti.
