It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Gerald Moore of Simpsonville, South Carolina, who passed away on September 30, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Reba Moore; his father Jerry Moore; his sisters, Colleen Oliver and Kathleen Grant; and his friend Jimmy Taylor.

He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl Hanks (Jimmy); his granddaughter Ashley Cantrell (Austin); his great-nieces, Mary Norman and Megan Norman; his extended family, Frances Moore and Shirley Grant; and his fiancée Doris Trentham. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
