He is survived by: his wife Beverly Wade Battle; his children, Craig Taylor of Rocky Mount, Shawn Battle of Greenville, MacKenzie Battle of Fort Carson, Colorado, Victoria Battle of Greenwood and Amy Taylor of Wake Forest; and his brothers, Dennis Battle of Texas, Ronnie Battle of Rocky Mount, Larry Battle of Rocky Mount, Calvin Battle of Simpsonville and Gregory Battle. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
