She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Guy and Margaret Harrill Michael; and her brothers, Robert Michael (Lillian) and William Michael. She is survived by: her husband Charlie; her children, Michael (Amanda Warlick), Sara (Morgan Washick), Barbara (Michael MacLeod) and David (Leslie Warlick); her grandchildren, Benjamin (William), Matthew (Samuel), Erika (Elias), Emilia (Stephen), Cameron (Ryan), Mattie (Douglas) and Emma (Charles); her great grandchildren, Masen, Tucker, Lilah, Judah, Abel and Ivy; and her niece Beth (Jim).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home (313 N Main St, Simpsonville, SC 29681). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mattie's memory to Alzheimer's Association or American Cancer Society, or to a charity of one's choice.
