She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel Yancey; her parents, Taylor Worley and Gladys Greene Worley; and her son Steven Yancey. She is survived by: her children, Susan Y. King (John) of Cross Hill and Lesley Yancey (Judi) of Lyman; her brother Silas A. Worley of Canton; her daughters-in-law, Donna Yancey of Greenville and Ellen Welsh of Simpsonville; and her grandchildren, Amy Yancey, Austin Yancey (Jean), Brittany Yancey, Brady Yancey (Elizabeth), Joey Welsh (Amy) and Becky Patterson (Mike). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
