She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Draughon and Myrtis Carter Draughon. She is survived by: her children, April Medina (Frank) of New Mexico and Joseph A. Stapleton of Spartanburg; her grandchildren, Haley L. Medina and Jordan B. Medina; and her sister Carolyn Powell (L. A. "Buddy" Powell).
