She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis M. Elwood and HuKate Thackston Elwood. She is survived by: her spouse Thomas J. Neideigh; her sons, Jon Neideigh (Jenny) of Simpsonville and Tom Neideigh of Simpsonville; her grandchildren, Rhyan Neideigh and Jonathan Neideigh; and her sister Jane Bristow.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Greenville Humane Society, 305 Airport Rd, Greenville, SC 29607.
